Fruit from our friends at Cooper Vineyards in Amador County.  Dark red in color.  Aromas of black currant with hints of cedar.  The front of the mouth is flavors of soft blackberries.  The mid pallet has good tannin structure with ripe fruit flavors.  This relatively unknown varietal could quickly become a favorite summer wine.  Pair with BBQ ribs.
