Fruit from Clondaire Vineyard in Calaveras County. Dolcetto, “little sweet one”, refers to the grape when it is picked for winemaking and is not an indication of the sugar level in the wine. The nose is light with hints of rose, raspberry and faint smell of cedar. The mouthfeel is more like a Cabernet, fruit forward, but dry with medium tannins. The acid is bright with a lingering finish. This is a food friendly wine. Pair with your favorite pasta dish or dry cheese.
